Another K-drama craze

Again, I ran into another k-drama craze with Dalja's Spring. I thought it was just another teeny boppy k-drama but when I tried to watch it once on GMA7, I got hooked on it. I skipped watching it twice so I searched on the internet for its episode and it eagers me more to finish all. But of course I could not do it coz it may take me a whole day or two days perhaps to complete the episodes. So I just slept. Unfortunately, I could not find the videos I watched in Youtube the next day. huhuhu. Read more...

Signos of End of the World?

In my younger years, I have been trembled by the prophecy of our world coming to an end. I remember many religious sects were sprouting like beans during 1990s tagging the year 2000 as the End of the World. Who wouldn't be scared with news like that. Everybody wants to live long, longer for that sake... Though I was in my developmental stage that time, I was scared that I will be experiencing life's tragic ending.

Did you remember how the world is seen to end? I remember famine, flood and rain of fire. I forgot the other four. It's seven locusts right? (correct me if I'm wrong)

Flood. The world now is in flood. US, China, Philippines. Different countries are suffering from flood. Typhoons had cause many destruction of homes, lands, lives, leaving people homeless, hungry and thirsty. Global warming is pointed to be the cause of this calamity. It's definitely not natural. It's man-made, the root-cause of all destruction and suffering. The recent Frank typhoon sank a ship in the Philippines with 700 passengers still missing.

Famine. Some countries are experiencing and some, soon. The food and oil price hike are factors why we will soon be facing this punishment. We may be even facing civil war if this will not be solved and hindered. I do not know why the Philippine government hastily declared a shortage of rice when in fact Mindanao has lots to be harvested. Cost of oil in the world market continue to rise up causing increase in all basic commodities as well.

Fire. It has always been people's enemy turning homes and buildings into ashes. Rain of fire? I do not know how it will happen but if it will, don't know if there will still be survivors.

Are these the signs of the End of the World? If it is, then our existence may soon come to peril, worse, to extinction.

Oblation Run, Always a Hit!

I read the newspaper this morning and I can't get my eyes off the image of naked guys running over the UP Diliman Campus. What would it feel like when I could have been there? I bet it would be a very interesting experience for me, worthwhile I say. I will include it on my list of unforgettable experiences. Hahaha. Funny but really interesting! ayt? These young men in an oblation run screamed many spectators, especially young women who quickly get their digital cameras captured a remembrance. I wonder how the gays participated in that event. Celtics Rejoiced Its 17th Victory

Boston Celtics rejoiced over its 17th Victory when they washed the LA Lakers in a score of 131-92 in the Celtics homecourt. I am not a fan of Celtics nor Lakers but with my officemates following/watching these games in the office, I can't help but join them too. I am a Spurs fan because Parker was there. Anyway, going back, Celtics won the Finals with a 4-2 game advantage. It was not easy for them to take the lead as Lakers' Kobe Bryant was always on guard in all games. Games 6 was a game for Celtics. It was their 17th after twenty-two (22) years when the team got the championship title in 1985-1986. That time, it was Larry Bird who was the MVP. This year's was Paul Pierce who garnered an average of 22 points in the finals. Ray Allen contributed a lot on Game 6 with his sure shots and Garnett too with his slam dunks and assists.

I am Php50,000 Tax Exempted!

Thank God! The new Personal Tax Exemption was approved by Pres. Arroyo just yesterday, June 17, 2008. This is a good news for us, income earners to have bigger tax exemption from Php25,000 to Php50,000, for employees who are single, married, and head of the family. Fifteen days after the approval will this new order take effect. That means my Php50,000 tax exemption for the whole year round will soon be effective this July. I asked our bookkeeper to compute for my monthly tax payment and it sure made me happy. I will be having less deduction for the next months to come. Haaaay... good thing the president finally did something worthy for fixed monthly income earners like me. Read more...

Blogging and Earning at Payperpost!

Yipee! My blog was just approved a few hours ago. Reading an approved message from payperpost almost made me yelled Yipee! in the office. Thank God I composed myself that time hahaha. Seriously, it feels good to be approved in a site offering you bowls of opportunities just to write and review on something. Isn't that nice?

I have heard about payperpost from a good friend vinkoy and taught me so much about blogging and earning. Finally, he suggested that I sign up with it, concurrently telling me that after a month of blogging in payperpost he earned approximately $100 and was able to buy a portable playstation! Cool! The big catch is, his officemate had bought a laptop only from his blog earnings. I wish to own one too!

What I love about payperpost is they have lots of opportunities that are qualifying to every bloggers that means even low page rankers are qualified to take. If all opportunities are taken before you have one, you can always have the alternative to be directly hired through its Direct PPP feature. This feature will allow bloggers to be directly in contact with the advertisers that suit their interests and specifications to promote their products. So everybody has the opportunity to write and earn!

For newbies and for pro bloggers, join the community. Earn while you hone your writing skills and win new friends! Happy blogging! Yipee!!! ;)

SocialSpark Sparks Bloggers

I recently bumped into this new wave of social blogging site which not only let you earn bills but also friends. It is a social network where bloggers helped each other through interactive networks and giving each other props to boost blog traffic. SocialSpark gives so much opportunity for bloggers to earn in their post. There are many opportunities to grab from many advertisers. The cost per post depends on the length of your post which will range from .35c per day to 20$ per post. Minimum requirement is that your blog must be claimed by you and verified by the Customer Love. Signing up is fast and easy. You'll get quick response from them once your blog has been claimed.

I read in an interview with Matt Cutts, head of search webspam for Google, about Socialspark and he gave props to it saying that Socialspark is keeping with the guidelines of google webmaster. With the NoFollow tag, everyone is assured of a link spam environment. The giving of props opens a blogger to newer and bigger opportunities to the advertisers and not just passing of links to increase pagerank. He also commented that socialspark is better than payperpost.

Socialspark is committed in helping both bloggers and advertisers achieve its desires and goals. Be a member of this newest blog community and be assured that you achieve the following:

-100% Audit-able In-Post Disclosure
-100% Transparency
-100% Real Opinions
-100% Search Engine Friendly

I am new to blogging but this site totally caught my interest and it's amazing to know how this site's strategy persuade neophyte bloggers like me to be one of their members. Be a socialspark member. Win friends and earn lots while writing!

Senator Barack Obama win the victory over Hillary Clinton in the race for the presidential nomination of the democratic party. It has been six months these two politicians gone over debates and campaigns to win the heart of the Americans. Just this Tuesday, Obama finally got the nomination from the party making him the first black American bi-racial American nominee for the presidency. To win the poll, one must have a vote of 2,118 from the party delegates all over United States. Obama got 2,181 while Clinton has 1,919 votes.

Billionaire Bob Johnson plans to urge Obama thru the Congressional Black Caucus to offer Clinton the vice presidency slot but news have it that Obama named Caroline Kennedy, daughter of the late John F. Davao in Flood!

I didn't expect Davao is in bad scenario now, never even thought about it my entire life. Thought we are free from nature's angst but I was proven wrong today.

Late this afternoon I went out to have some grocery to celebrate my twenty-fourth year of existence (Thank God for letting me live one more year). It was still drizzling when I went out the house and decided to just ride a jeepney to save. ( but it was still useless coz I spent huge in groceries huhu) When we approached Bajada, somewhere near Bacaca, the rain dropped heavily that we can barely see the place. It seems the place was covered with white smoke due to heavy downpour. The thunder grumbles heavily and the lightning strikes angrily. Approaching Victoria Plaza, the streets were flooded. At V. Mapa Str, many multicabs were stranded. Traffic jam started. Flood is above knee-level and cars are almost floating. I almost traveled an hour before I reached my destination.

I thought of shopping at GS instead coz I don't want to dip my feet in that dirty waters along G-mall. Fortunately, the jeep stopped ahead G-mall where I can step on the ground so I decided to jump out and walked few steps back. I bought goods for an hour and off I went home but going home was a total disaster. No taxis or jeepneys available in site and everyone almost crowded the streets for a ride! I waited almost two hours before I came home. I never expected such incident would happen! I called my father and aunt to fetch me but they too are stranded by traffic. I don't wanna go out when it rains next time.

Davao is in pity situation now. Hope the government will do something about the drainage system or any for that matter.

Moving On With Life

Lately, I felt the weight of the world is on my shoulder. Sounds too common huh? But yah that's how I feel... and I need to reset my brain to instruct all my glands to think, feel and act positively to keep moving. I hope these quotes somehow help me get inspired.

If you don't design your own life plan, chances are you'll fall into someone else's plan. And guess what they have planned for you? Not much.(Jim Rohn)

Did you ever see an unhappy horse? Did you ever see a bird that had the blues? One reason why birds and horses are not unhappy is because they are not trying to impress other birds and horses. (Dale Carnegie)

Little minds are tamed and subdued by misfortune, but great minds rise above them. (Washington Irving)

Don't get discouraged, everyone who got where he is, started where he was.

In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity. (Albert Einstein)

Success is not to be measured by what you have reached but by what obstacles you had to overcome. (Booker T Washington)

Success is difficult, it requires enormous effort. Those who can work through the struggle becomes successful. (Jackie Joyner)
